Their patience is appreciated but it's definitely bonkers to think about. Hazmat suits are certainly not created to withstand physical damage since they aren't suits of armor, however, they should protect users from the infected, right? This doesn't quite seem to be the case in World War Z where you will find plenty of zombies donning the aforementioned gear. If these hazmat workers were around the infected, shouldn't the well-crafted suits protect them to some extent?
The only logical explanation for the staggering number of hazmat suit zombies is that a group of them were outnumbered and outwitted by the zombies. It's unfortunate for the survivors since these hazmat zombies expel a poisonous toxin once killed.
Many zombie games, including Left 4 Dead and Back 4 Blood introduce special varieties of the creatures that are more powerful, agile, and lethal. World War Z is no different and it also offers these unique types. However, what makes these zombies so special? With hundreds of zombies swarming you at any given time, it's quite strange to only see a handful of the special infected.
Were these special zombies actually regular zombies that were experimented on for nefarious reasons? It's hard to say but one thing is for sure, they definitely pose a terrifying threat, especially as the zombie apocalypse continues to rage on. The world of World War Z still has many survivors but they are clearly outnumbered by the infected. The whole idea of zombies meeting a second death in water brings up another question. Are zombies eternal, or are they literally walking, rotting flesh which will eventually rot away?
Is there something preventing the brain from rotting away, and even if there is, the rest of the body will surely disintegrate into nothing, leaving only a skull and a brain.
Unless the brain is rotting too. Buoyancy would be a problem for sure because why would they float? And then the crabs would have a feast. I suppose they could always walk the ocean bottom like the undead pirates in the first Disney Caribbean movie, but then that brings forward the issue of reaching the ship on the surface of the water and of even knowing the ship was there, depending on the ocean depth. This is an interesting question…makes you wonder. I had planned to add a few words about Pirates of the Caribbean, but at the last minute changed my mind.
Thank you for mentioning this! About swimming, I think they cannot. Also, no zombie film ever showed zombies swimming. Though, it brings up another question in my mind. Would the ocean predators be zombified by eating the zombies?
Since many zombies have open wounds with blood, I would guess a shark would come into play too. So, would you get zombie sharks? You are commenting using your WordPress.
